2. Present Progressive

Uses

We use the present progressive:

  1. To talk about actions happening now (You are reading grammar notes)
  2. To talk about personal arrangements in the future (I am seeing my friend next weekend)
  3. To talk about temporary actions (Sarah is traveling around Asia for six months)
  4. To talk about annoying habits (John is always interrupting the teacher in class)
